Hey! Melissa here, proud mom of three, juggling the beautiful chaos of family life and career while trying to keep my sanity intact. Between work, school projects, sports practices, and the endless to-do list, I sometimes feel like I’m living in a whirlwind. Amidst all the chaos, one thing that always brings me joy is food – cooking it, eating it, and sharing it with the people I love.  But let’s be honest, with everything we have going on, leisurely experimenting in the kitchen just isn’t in our cards.  Meal planning – and a husband who isn’t afraid to roll up his sleeves and help most nights – is the only thing vanquishing hunger in this household; but meal planning is my kryptonite, arguably my least favorite part of adulting.  I’m hoping that I’m not the only one, that there are others out there that could really go for some help adding variety to their dinner table. Out of this, I'm developing Feeding a Famished 5 – a weekly line-up of four new recipes (tested out in our own home), along with the compiled shopping lists to go along with them.  Helping take one thing off your plate in an attempt to get dinner on the table.
